1 cup fresh sage
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
Salt and pepper to taste
Microwave sage leaves in a single layer on a plate until crisp, about 2 1/2 minutes. Set aside.
In a large pot heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the popcorn kernels, and cover with the lid. Shake the large pot back and forth while the kernels are popping. Once all the kernels have been popped, transfer the popcorn to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat. Crumble the microwaved sage over top. Season with salt, and toss to combine.1 Comment

Twiggy is not thrilled that I made us matching hooded Halloween capes. I think she looks quite fetching, although she might think that description ill-fitted for a cat. She has, though, come to realize that ‘dressing-up’ and ‘fun’ are mutually exclusive.
Will you be giving your pet a trick or a treat this Halloween?
